Since Spiritual Care is an integral part of a person's well-being, UNM SRMC is committed to providing for the special religious and/or spiritual needs of our guests, including patients, family members, visitors, staff and volunteers as they deal with illness, suffering, and death. The goals of Chaplaincy Services at UNM SRMC are:
- To meet the religious/spiritual needs for healthcare experiences
- To provide a full-time volunteer Chaplain as well as on-call spiritual service(s) as needed
- To uphold the integrity and confidentiality of our patients and staff
- To always remember and live by the SRMC values - To Serve, Integrity, Quality/Safety, Excellence, and Teamwork
